Google seems to be getting serious about Google Home integration on Google TV. Smart televisions running Google TV or Google TV devices are ready to support Google Home integration for controlling Internet of Things devices directly from the TV or by giving voice commands to Google Assistant.
To ensure that the use of Google Home Internet of Things devices is more user-friendly with televisions, Google has collaborated with MediaTek to develop a special processing chip. This chip will support both Thread and Matter standards, and it will also support Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 6, and IEEE 802.15.4/Thread radios.
This chip is under the MediaTek Filogic brand that focuses on multi-network connection technology. MiraVision Pro or MT7903 will start being released in mid-2025, and then it will be distributed to manufacturers of Internet of Things devices.
This chip will also ensure the best security for each connection and users will no longer have headaches in modern smart home settings.
