Meta Introduces Video Editing App for Phones Called Edits – Alternative to CapCut

With the problems that befell Bytedance in the United States, it has caused several applications under them to be banned from access, including one of them is the popular video editor, CapCut. This has also opened up opportunities for various other alternative applications, and not to be left out is Meta who announced the introduction of their own video editing application, called Edits.

Edits will offer an alternative to CapCut, and is published under Instagram. Meta has only announced Edits for now, and this application is expected to be available for iPhone users by March 13, 2025. This application is also expected to follow for Android users.

Through Edits, users can easily edit videos directly on their mobile devices, and then export videos without any watermarks or logos. The final result can be used to share via Instagram, or other platforms. Like CapCut, users can also edit videos by managing different layers, and adding various special effects to their videos.

With this development, let's all look forward to the introduction of the Edits application by Meta soon. For those of you who use an iPhone, you can pre-register for Edits in the App Store today.
