Wikipedia is one of the main reference sites for many in checking facts, finding out various information, and so on. It is offered in various languages, and also relies on community contributions in terms of writing, editing, and so on.
Recently, representatives of the Malay Language Wikimedia community shared that the Malay Language Wikipedia has exceeded 400,000 articles, since it was started in October 2002. There are around 626 active users on the Malay Language Wikipedia, which has made at least one edit in the last 30 days.
This achievement puts the total number of articles on the Malay Language Wikipedia in 35th place. Our nearest neighbor, the Indonesian Wikipedia has more than 700,000 articles, while the main English-language Wikipedia has almost 7 million articles.
