Mozilla Introduces Special AI Plug-in for Firefox – Orbit

Mozilla is now coming with a special plug-in that brings a number of artificial intelligence features to the Mozilla Firefox web browser, named Orbit.

Orbit is still in beta, and offers features that make it easier for users to summarize an article while browsing the web, including being able to summarize emails, documents and even videos on the web. Mozilla says that this is done by Orbit without sacrificing any user privacy.

In addition, through Orbit, users can also ask questions related to a page and get answers directly from Orbit. Mozilla uses Mistral LLM (Mistral 7B) to power this Orbit. Through our tests, it still uses English in summarizing and answering questions. Meanwhile, for videos, it cannot be used if a video does not have a transcript.

For those of you who are interested, you can download the Orbit plug-in today, and use it to help you browse the web. Orbit can be used through the Firefox web browser without the need for any registered account.
