MSI GeForce RTX 5080 Gaming Trio Box Leaked to Web Arena

NVIDIA will introduce their latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5000 series of graphics cards during the CES 2025 event that will take place next week. Recently, the box for the MSI GeForce RTX 5080 Gaming Trio graphics card has been leaked to the web arena.

From the picture of the box, we can see that the design of this new graphics card is almost similar to the MSI GeForce RTX 4080 Gaming X Trio graphics card, with some minimal changes. It still features the same three-fan cooling system as before, and three LED strips on the middle fan.

In terms of specifications, the details on this box confirm that this graphics card comes with 16GB GDDR7 memory and will come with four output plugs, including three DisplayPort plugs and one HDMI plug as usual, but details regarding the format of these plugs are unknown at this time.

This graphics card box may also somewhat answer the question of which model NVIDIA will introduce for sale first. Where previously the RTX XX90 series graphics cards would be introduced and sold first, for the RTX 5000 series, there is a high possibility that both the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 graphics cards will be introduced, but the RTX 5080 model will be sold first.
