If you are a PC builder, you must be aware of the MSI Lightning series of graphics cards that they have not shown for a long time. Typically, MSI Lightning graphics card models come with their most advanced cooling systems, and have the ability to be overclocked for better performance than what other models offer.
Recently, MSI has unveiled two MSI Lightning “Special Edition” graphics card models for the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card that was just announced by NVIDIA yesterday. This graphics card comes in two models, one of which uses an AIO liquid cooling system with two 120mm cooling fans, and the other model with a “FiveFrozr” fan cooling system that uses five built-in fans.
For the model with liquid cooling, MSI uses a HydroCool liquid cooling system and uses two 120mm StormForce fans to dissipate heat from the graphics card’s cooling fins.
For the model that uses the FiveFrozr air cooling system, this model comes with three 100mm StormForce fans on the front to pull in cool air, and two 120mm StormForce fans on the back plate to blow hot air from the graphics card's cooling fins.
With the use of the MSI Lightning name on this graphics card model, it is expected that this graphics card will also come with high overclocking capabilities, suitable for those who want to build a very powerful gaming computer.
