After being leaked in the middle of last month, the new ASUS ROG Flow Z13 was launched at CES as a gaming tablet that comes with the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 Strix Halo APU. It combines 16 Zen 5 CPU cores, a Radeon 8060S GPU with 40 CUs and an NPU with a capacity of 50 TOPS. According to ASUS, the ROG Flow Z13 can run LLM with 70B parameters directly from the device and also turns it into a CoPilot+ PC.
Other specifications of this tablet are a 13″ 2.5K ROG Nebula Display screen with a refresh rate of 180Hz, 128GB of LPDDR5X 8000MHz RAM, several TB of storage and a 70Wh battery. I/O options are USB-C with support for DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1, USB A port, microSD slot and also a 3.5mm audio jack.
Other improvements include a larger touchpad and longer battery life thanks to the Strix Halo APU. The second-generation Arc Flow Fans cooling system provides 70% better airflow while being quieter. Pricing has not yet been announced.
