NVIDIA DLSS 4 With Multi Frame Generation Technology Coming to 75 Games at Launch

With the launch of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5000 series of graphics cards, NVIDIA is also showing off its latest frame generation technology offering, DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation. With these newly launched graphics cards, DLSS 4 uses artificial intelligence technology to add up to three additional frames for every frame generated by the graphics card in a game.

In short, this allows GeForce RTX 5000 graphics cards to display higher game frame rates at resolutions such as 1440p and 4K without reducing the performance of PC games.

This feature also allows users to enjoy games at higher frame rates even when you enable the Ray-Tracing feature in your games.

NVIDIA says that the DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation feature will not only arrive with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5000 graphics cards when they go on sale, but it will also be supported by 75 PC games, including Doom: The Dark Ages and Dune: Awakening when they launch.

NVIDIA also said that soon, existing games such as Black Myth: Wukong, Marvel Rivals, and Naraka: Bladepoint will also support this DLSS 4 generation feature.

Unfortunately, NVIDIA says that this frame generation technology is limited to the GeForce RTX 5000 series of graphics cards only because the additional frames that need to be generated by the AI require a constant frame generation rate, and at higher resolutions and graphics settings, this is difficult for the RTX 4000 series graphics cards to do.

NVIDIA is expected to market the first graphics cards in the GeForce RTX 5000 series by the end of this month.
