The OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R were launched late last night. For those interested in buying both devices, OnePlus confirmed that they will provide support for 4 Android version updates and security patches for 6 years. This is not as good as the 7+7 years offered by Samsung and Google on their flagship devices.
OnePlus says this is because according to the data collected, users of their devices switch to a new device after four years. So supporting 7 Android versions is not their main factor at this time. In Malaysia, the OnePlus 13 is sold for RM4399 but there is still no information about the OnePlus 13R at this time.
