Razer Iskur V2 X and Project Arielle Showcased with Built-in Cooling/Heating Systems

The Razer Iskur series is a popular ergonomic gaming chair. It is categorized as an affordable premium gaming chair and the latest at CES 2025, two new chairs were shown off. One is the new Iskur V2 X which will be sold and the other is an interesting and unique concept product.

Iskur V2 X

The Iskur V2 X is the new premium mid-range iteration of Razer's gaming chair. It now has built-in spinal support, a wider seat, cushions that are less pressure but soft enough that they follow the user's shape, can recline up to 152 degrees back and uses breathable fabric.

Unlike the Iskur V2 which has a more flexible armrest, the V2 X can only be adjusted in height. Razer also offers customization to change the color or change the construction material from fabric to leather. The selling price of the base set is around RM1,349. In Malaysia, the Iskur V2 is sold for almost RM3K, while the Iskur X is around RM1.7K. Maybe the Iskur V2 X will be sold for around RM2K?

Project Arielle

Razer's new concept gaming chair does not use regular fabric or leather, but instead uses a mesh-type fabric to provide good airflow. It is also the first gaming chair to be equipped with a fan system for cooling and heating the user's body.

Project Arielle uses the Razer Fujin Pro chair as the basis for this concept chair. For the fan, they use a 3-phase DC motor for more efficient power consumption. This motor drives the fan and can cool or heat the user's body so that they can play video games for a long time.

The backrest has several air grilles for wind with a bladeless fan. The entire chair can cool down to 2-5 degrees Celsius or heat up to 30 degrees Celsius. All temperature and fan controls are on a special small touch panel on the side of the chair.

The Razer Fujin Pro is their flagship gaming chair. Previously, it was sold for over RM4,500 and with the integration of this bladeless fan system and cooling/heating system – if it goes on sale I wouldn't be surprised if the price reaches RM6K to RM7K.
