Today, the REDMAGIC 10 Pro has been officially sold in Malaysia. This time it is an official set with SIRIM recognition and warranty by ZTE Malaysia itself. With a selling price of almost RM4,000, many are worried and wondering, how will REDMAGIC handle updates for their devices in Malaysia?
After the launch a while ago, a ZTE Malaysia representative shared that now REDMAGIC devices in Malaysia will support 2 years of consistent updates for Android versions and 4 years for security patches. This update will also be affected by other REDMAGIC devices, such as the REDMAGIC 7 which began receiving their latest Android update recently.
REDMAGIC has also redesigned the REDMAGIC OS 10 interface based on Android 15 to be more friendly to global market users, look cleaner and ensure that there are no Chinese terms that are directly translated to be confusing.
