The Redmi 14C (5G) has been officially announced in India today. In general, the changes are only in the processing chip and selfie camera. The rest is seen as the same as the existing Redmi 14C 4G model. Sharing further, the device has a 6.88″ HD+ screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is paired with a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chip along with memory options of up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. This memory can also be expanded up to 1TB via a microSD card slot.
Redmi further equips the device with a 50MP main camera, 8MP selfie, 5160mAh battery, 18W charging system, side fingerprint scanner and IP52 waterproofing. The device is also available in Stargaze Black, Starlight Blue and Stardust Purple color options at a starting price of INR9,999 (~RM526) each. There are no details on the device's availability in Malaysia but you can still get the Redmi 14C (4G) which is priced at RM499.
