Redmi Turbo 4 is the first device to use the Mediatek Dimensity 8400-Ultra chip



Redmi Turbo 4 was officially launched in China as a new smartphone in the series. It uses a 6.67-inch OLED screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz and peak brightness of up to 3200nits. In addition, it supports HDR10+, Dolby Vision and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection.


It is also powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 8400-Ultra chip and a 5000mm² stainless steel cooling system for better heat dissipation. In addition, it has a special chip that has been upgraded for double durability at temperatures as low as -35°C. Memory options of up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.0 storage are also provided as a complement.


The camera system consists of a 50MP main sensor (Sony LTY-1.95 600 / 600) and an 8MP ultra-wide with the ability to record 4K60FPS videos. Followed by a 20MP front camera for selfies and video calls. A large 6550mAh carbon-silicon battery is included with 90W fast charging that can charge up to 100% in 45 minutes.


Other specifications include stereo speakers, an in-screen fingerprint scanner, IP66/IP68/IP69 water resistance and a red emitter. The official retail price starts between RMB1999 (~RM1,227) and RMB2499 (~RM1,535) and is believed to be launched as the Poco X7 Pro for the global market.
