Samsung Galaxy Ring is a new wearable device that was introduced last year. It is an alternative to the Galaxy Watch or can also be a companion device to use both together. Recently, Samsung confirmed the presence of Galaxy Ring for the Malaysian market.
After entering the SIRIM database a few weeks ago, Galaxy Ring was confirmed to be sold in 15 more countries after it was limited to 38 countries. These 15 countries are Malaysia, Cyprus, Czech, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Japan, Mauritius, New Zealand, Singapore, Slovakia, South Africa, Taiwan, Vietnam and Zambia. At the same time, Samsung also added two new ring sizes, namely 14-15, along with three new colors, namely titanium black, titanium silver and titanium gold.
Along with this announcement, the Samsung Health app has also been updated. Sleep monitoring data now includes environmental factors such as temperature or air quality. This feature must be used with SmartThings internet of things devices. The app will now also provide recommendations for the best sleep time, and track self-care (mindfulness).
According to Samsung's partnership, sales of the Galaxy Ring will begin on January 22, 2025 with a ring size measuring kit available at Samsung's online store or physical Samsung stores.
The Galaxy Ring's sales price in Malaysia is still a mystery, in the United States it is sold for around RM1,800. If it is available for sale you need to make sure you really want it because it is a non-repairable product. Then it is rumored that the Galaxy Ring 2 will also arrive soon, do you want to get the first generation product?
