As expected, Bixby with AI integration will arrive with the Samsung Galaxy S25 series. This is because in the Galaxy Unpacked 2025 announcement, Bixby AI was revealed. This AI integration will make Bixby smarter and a real competitor to Siri with Apple Intelligence which is expected to arrive this year as well.
The new Bixby is said to be powered by Samsung's own language model, Gauss, along with Google Gemini. In this short video, Bixby AI asks a question when Samsung Galaxy Unpacked will take place.
It shows a new interactive animation with the familiar Bixby icon. The liquid blue theme will also be retained. Users may be able to interact with Bixby like with Gemini Live.
The actual use and complete features are still a mystery. Samsung is also said to be giving Gemini Advanced access to Galaxy S25 buyers, so perhaps the new Bixby will rely on it. Then a plugin for Samsung's application in Gemini is also being developed. Let's wait and see how Bixby and Gemini position in the Galaxy S25.
