In South Korea, Samsung is offering a subscription plan to get smart home appliances. It is like LG Rent Up or the new name of LG Subscribe. Most recently, Samsung wants to extend this offering to Galaxy devices.
This plan is called AI Subscription Club, but it is not to extend the use of Galaxy AI which is expected to expire at the end of this year. Instead, it is a subscription plan for users to get Galaxy devices by paying monthly in the form of a subscription.
The name of this Samsung plan is a bit misleading and hopefully, more details on the use of Galaxy AI after 2025 will be announced in the near future for users to prepare. Anyway, AI Subscription Club is said to be launched in February soon and may be used to get the Galaxy S25 series.
Example of Google Pixel subscription with other digital services
In Malaysia, the method of getting a Samsung Galaxy device with a monthly payment is either with the pay later use (BNPL) service, credit card installments or money loans. Are you interested in subscribing to a Galaxy device? Google's Pixel Pass for Pixel subscriptions has been discontinued, while Apple has also canceled plans for iPhone subscriptions.
