Last week, shortly after the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra was launched, we reported that the included S Pen no longer comes with Bluetooth support for Air Actions control. This means that the remote camera control feature using the S Pen can no longer be used. However, a Samsung representative told us that this feature will still be available if the S25 Ultra is paired with the Bluetooth-equipped S Pen Pro.
But now Samsung has confirmed that the S25 Ultra will not support any S Pen Bluetooth features. This was confirmed by Android Authority, which contacted Samsung itself. In its latest statement, Samsung said that the S Pen Pro support stated in the blog they published contained an error.
Samsung also said that S Pen support with Bluetooth was discontinued because the Air Actions feature that was included since the Galaxy Note9 was not widely used by device buyers. With this, another feature that previously existed is no longer continued, such as the audio jack, infrared emitter, heart rate scanner, removable battery and the feature of creating animated GIFs via the Edge Panel.
