At CES 2025, Samsung has shown off several more rollable and foldable screen technologies that are larger than those previously launched. The first technology is an 18.1″ foldable OLED screen that when viewed becomes a 13.1″ screen. It supports touch and is aimed at laptop use.
Also shown is the Slidable Flex Duet rollable screen that changes from 8.1″ to 12.4″ in size. This screen can be pulled from both sides. Meanwhile, the Slidable Flex Solo changes from 13″ to 17.3″ and the Slidable Flex Duet extends upwards from 5.1″ to 6.7″.
All of the screen products above indicate that Samsung may offer real products in the near future. Previously, prototype tablets and laptops with foldable and rollable screens have been shown by Samsung Disney.
