Two monitors for productivity were also launched in conjunction with CES. The Samsung Smart Monitor M9 M90SF is the flagship model and according to Samsung is the first in the industry to come with artificial intelligence (AI) features to improve visual quality.
It comes with a 32” 4K OLED screen that exceeds the VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 standard. Through AI Picture Optimizer, the monitor intelligently changes settings according to the content detected such as working, photo editing or video gaming.
Visual quality is also upgraded using 4K AI Upscaling Pro which ensures visuals look sharp even if not at native resolution. Like the previous M series, the M9 also comes with features that can be used as a smart TV because it uses the Tizen operating system.
Finally, the Samsung ViewFinity S8 S80UD comes with a 37″ 4K panel with a 16:9 ratio and passes TÃœV Rheinland standards for eye care. This year’s model is larger than last year’s 32″. To increase productivity, the Viewfinity S8 supports a KVM switch with the ability to connect a mouse and keyboard. The laptop can also be charged thanks to the 90W USB-C support.
The selling price and when it will be available for sale have not yet been announced by Samsung.
