Sonos CEO Resigns

Patrick Spence stepped down as CEO and board member of Sonos yesterday. His decision was accepted by the board and Tom Conrad was appointed interim CEO. The search for a new CEO has begun, with the candidate expected to continue Sonos' legacy of innovation and excellence in serving its customers while also driving profitable growth.

While the reason for the resignation was not disclosed in the official statement, it is believed to be related to Spence's failure to ensure the new Sonos app was running smoothly. Since its introduction, various issues have arisen such as the loss of existing features, limited streaming app support and too many bugs ruining the user experience. Despite users asking for the full launch of the site app, Sonos insists this is not possible due to technological reasons.
