After three years of development, the Sony AFEELA 1 electric car (EV) is now available for pre-order in California, United States. The EV is offered in two models, the AFEELA 1 Origin at $89,900 (~RM 405,673) and the AFEELA 1 Signature at $102,9000 (~RM 464,336) each. The Signature will arrive in the hands of buyers in mid-2026 while the Origin will start in 2027.
Not much information about this EV has been shared by Sony. They only say that each vehicle is equipped with 40 sensors, comes with 800 TOPS processing capacity and will use the Tesla Supercharging charging network.
It also comes with AFEELA Intelligent Drive which provides Level 2 self-driving capabilities and ADAS. The entertainment system supports Amazon Music, Audible and Spotify. Meanwhile, the vehicle's interior graphics and sound system were developed by Polyphony Digital, which developed the Gran Turismo video game.
Signature, as a premium model, is equipped with 21" rims, two additional screens on the rear and three color options. While Origin is only equipped with 17" rims and only comes in black.
