Swippit Charges Smartphone Batteries in 2 Seconds

The world's fastest charging technology was developed by Realme with a power of 240W. The Realme GT3 phone battery can be fully charged in 10 minutes. At CES, a new "charging" system was unveiled that allows a smartphone battery to return to 100% in just 2 seconds.

The Swippit system actually takes inspiration from the era of removable phone batteries. It is a smartphone frame with a 3500 mAh battery. When the battery runs out, users just need to insert the phone into a dock that will swap the old battery with a new one in 2 seconds. The old battery will then be recharged and wait for its turn to be used again.

Each dock holds up to five fully charged batteries. With this, Swippit owners will not have to face the problem of running out of battery. At this point, Swippit only supports iPhone 14, 15 and 16. There are plans to provide support for several new Android and iPhone models by the end of this year.

Each Swippit frame retails for $125 (~RM563) while the charging dock retails for $450 (~RM2025).
