Two years ago, Twitter introduced Verified Organizations, which is now X Verified Organizations. It is an additional subscription plan for accounts owned by companies or brands to get additional stamps on their respective X profiles.
In addition to the official X stamp, each account under the same company can also get a special stamp. Recently, Telegram has also added the same feature for their account owners. According to Telegram, it is to fight fake accounts that engage in criminal activities.
Eligible accounts are those with Bot services recognized by Telegram, and these accounts will use a stamp with a unique icon. Each icon when pressed will have an explanation of why it is recognized and what it is for. Interestingly, Telegram does not ask for any payment other than just applying to get this special stamp.
Not only that, Telegram also continues to focus on their web3 support by improving the features of getting NFTs, giving NFTs as gifts, reacting to service messages (call invitations, receiving gifts, etc.) and filtering messages by personal message, channel or group. At the same time, support for using emojis as folder names and a Telegram camera app that can directly scan QR codes were also introduced.
