It's no surprise that after the Pixel 9 was launched, Google continued to develop the Pixel 10 and Pixel 11. Various information has been leaked such as the new Tensor chip will be manufactured by TSMC and more. Most recently, information about the Pixel 10a has also been leaked.
The Pixel 9a has not been launched yet, but the Pixel 10a is reportedly in the early stages of development. Sources say that Google is still not sure whether it wants to use a special Tensor G5 chip on it or stick with the G4. This is strange, because every year the Pixel A uses the chip of the previous year's flagship Pixel device.
The Pixel 10 series is said to focus more on camera capabilities and more sophisticated, powerful and fast AI capabilities that are said to only be possible with the Tensor G5 chip. Perhaps the cost of the G5 chip is more expensive, so Google has not yet decided which chip should be used in the Pixel 10a. If Tensor G4 is used, it will be the same chip used for 3 consecutive years, namely the Pixel 9 series (2024), Pixel 9a (2025) and Pixel 10a (2026). Let's all look forward to it.
