Truecaller on iPhone Can Now Block Spam Calls Automatically

Truecaller has announced a new update for iOS users. The new update brings API support for iPhones that can identify all types of calls in real-time, while also blocking fraudulent (spam) calls automatically. This move brings the same experience to Android devices that previously offered the feature.

It is available to Truecaller users with iPhones running iOS 18.2 and the Truecaller app updated to version 14.0 or later. Then open Settings > Apps > Phone > Call Blocking & Identification. This is where users can enable the new feature, and open the Truecaller app once. The rest is set automatically. We can also confirm that the feature is now available on iPhones.

In addition, Truecaller has also updated the app interface with caller names appearing in bold next to their numbers. It also has the ability to search up to 2,000 previously identified numbers in the recent list in the phone app. It is available without any ad interruptions for premium users while free users will see ads while using it.

Truecaller on iOS also offers a Premium Family subscription especially for premium users. This plan is provided to allow premium users to share various exciting benefits like Truecaller AI Assistant with four other members for a low monthly or annual price.
