GTA VI is a new video game that many have been waiting for since GTA V was introduced in 2013. GTA is an open-world video game, where players have to control a criminal character and perform tasks without being detected by the authorities. The latest, GTA VI is said to be expected to be a benchmark for video game sales prices in 2025.
Analysts from Epyllion stated that they expect the sales price of GTA VI to be around $80 to $100, which is more than RM447. If not, it could be sold at a price of around RM400. This is because in 2020, most popular video games have started selling at $70, which is around RM313. So for GTA VI, if sold at $70 it would be the cheapest in history and unrealistic.
If Rockstar increases the sales price of GTA VI to $100, there is hope for other video games to also increase their prices. For example, the ones that start at $50, $60 and $70 can start at $60, $70 and $80. GTA VI when launched around 2025 will also be an exclusive game for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles first. Will you buy it if the price reaches almost RM450?
