This morning, YouTube announced several exciting features specifically for their Premium subscribers. Among them is the Jum Ahead feature to skip ads from within the video or skip straight to the interesting part. In addition, the higher audio streaming feature at 256kbps can also be enjoyed. YouTube will also offer a subscription discount if you subscribe to other Google services.
If users subscribe to any of the Google One premium plans, the YouTube subscription price for individuals can qualify for a 14% discount. This means that if in Malaysia the individual plan is RM20.90 and you subscribe to the Google One Premium 2TB plan RM42.90 – YouTube subscription will be only RM17.97.
