In the middle of last year, ZOTAC, a technology brand known for its computer components, introduced its own PC console called ZOTAC Gaming Zone. The console is powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 8840U processor chip and comes with several interesting features of its own, and has already started selling in the local market.
At the CES 2025 event, ZOTAC showed off their Gaming Zone console prototype, and this time it is powered by a new AMD CPU, the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370. It also comes with 32GB of LPDDR5X memory and 1TB of built-in storage.
In terms of the design and appearance of this console, it doesn't seem like much has changed. It still retains the 7.0-inch OLED screen display with a 120Hz refresh rate and uses Hall Effect switches for the joystick and trigger buttons on the back.
In terms of performance, since the new Ryzen AI 300 processor has a higher power consumption range, it is expected to have much better performance than the previous model.
The new Gaming Zone console will also come with a USB4 plug, a MicroSD card slot, support for WiFi 6E connectivity and a built-in 48.5Wh battery. The frame of this prototype console is also seen to come in white, different from the previous black frame.
