Adobe today launched two Adobe Firefly plans that allow customers to generate short videos and images using generative artificial intelligence (AI). With these two services, creators can produce videos that are then used for professional work.
The first feature is Generate Video Beta that generates five-second 1080P videos based on a user-provided promo or still image. The videos can be used as b-roll clips, filling in the gaps between scenes and also as elements needed for video production. In the Beta stage, videos are only at 1080P resolution with support for generating 4K videos coming in the future.
Next is Scene to Image Beta that can generate images based on sketches or 3D pre-visualization objects provided by users. With this, the AI-generated images are more controlled to meet the creator's original vision.
The two plans offered are Firefly Standard and Firefly Pro. Firefly Standard costs $9.99 (~RM 45) per month and allows customers to generate 2000 videos or images per month or up to 20 five-second 1080P videos. Firefly Pro costs $29.99 (~RM 134) per month and allows customers to generate 7000 videos or images per month or up to 70 five-second 1080P videos.
