A number of companies based in the United States are ready to express their intention to invest or acquire a stake if TikTok chooses to sell their operations in the United States. Not only that, now a new report has come out, stating that Amazon has also expressed its intention to acquire a stake in TikTok.
As many are aware, TikTok is ready to lead in the live video-based buying and selling arena on TikTok Shop. This in itself poses a challenge to various e-commerce companies in the market, including Amazon itself.
If Amazon acquires TikTok in the United States, it may be used to integrate e-commerce together, thus ensuring that the e-commerce arena continues to be led by Amazon in that market.
At present, it is not known what ByteDance's final decision will be regarding the order to sell TikTok's operations in the United States. Several parties are ready to express their intention to acquire it, including Oracle and Microsoft.
