AMD Ryzen 9000X3D and AMD Radeon RX 9070 Expected to Launch in March 2025

AMD has shown off a number of new components at the CES 2025 event by showing off its latest X3D series of processor chips, namely the AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D and AMD Ryzen 9 9900X3D and the AMD Radeon RX 9070 graphics card.

As of now, AMD has not yet announced when these components will be launched, but French technology news site Cowcotland has reported that it is expected that both these series of components will start launching in March this year.

Although no confirmation has been given about this launch, it is in line with AMD's announcement that at least the AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D and AMD Ryzen 9 9900X3D processor chips will arrive in the market in the first quarter of 2025. If this report is true, AMD's strategy may be to launch these products at once, and perhaps as a way to sell these products in a bundle.

The AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D is seen to come with 16 physical cores and 32 power threads and can be overclocked to 5.7GHz, while the AMD Ryzen 9 9900X3D comes with 12 physical cores and 24 power threads and can be overclocked to 5.5GHz.

As for the AMD Radeon RX 9070 graphics card, it uses the Navi 48 graphics processing chip with 4096 physical cores and comes with 16GB of GDDR6 memory.

For now, the price tag for these products is also not known yet.
