Apple today introduced the Powerbeats Pro 2 which targets athletes, through which it allows athletes to stay connected and enjoy audio content while exercising or doing activities.
Powerbeats Pro 2 comes with active noise cancellation support, and is powered by the Apple H2 chip. At the same time, it also includes Transparency Mode support and Spatial Audio. Interestingly, these wireless earphones also include a sensor to track heart rate, making it easier for athletes to track and monitor it pre, during and post-activity or exercise.
Apple says they include an optical LED sensor that emits around 100 times per second to ensure blood flow.
In terms of design, the Powerbeats Pro 2 is said to be more comfortable in the ear, as well as 20% lighter than the previous generation. Each earphone offers a usage time of 10 hours per full charge. Apple also includes a fast charging called Fast Fuel which allows users to charge for 5 minutes and use them for 90 minutes. Powerbeats Pro 2 also includes wireless charging support, as well as being IPX4 waterproof and sweatproof.
