Apple today officially introduced their latest smartphone, and also an update to the previous iPhone SE family, called the iPhone 16e.
The Apple iPhone 16e joins the iPhone 16 family of devices, but at a lower price. It comes with the Apple A18 processing chip, as well as being equipped with Apple's own cellular modem, the Apple C1. With the support of the powerful chip, this device also gives you access to Apple Intelligence artificial intelligence support.
On the camera side, the Apple iPhone 16e comes with a 48-megapixel Fusion main camera, which allows for beautiful photo and video recording, as well as integrating 2x telephoto support. This is the first time Apple has included a two-in-one sensor on an iPhone, making this device only come with one camera on the back.
The iPhone 16e comes with a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR screen, support for charging using USB-C, and authentication using Face ID. A physical Action Button is also included on the side for quick access to specific features. This device comes with iOS 18 built in.
Malaysian users can get the iPhone 16e at a price of RM2999 for 128GB, RM3499 for 256GB and RM4499 for 512GB. Pre-orders can be made starting February 21, 2025, with sales starting on February 28, 2025.
