Apple today launched a new app called Apple Invites. Through it, it focuses on encouraging social gatherings and events among friends and guests.
Using the Apple Invites app, users can create an event, and then invite friends to attend it. Roughly speaking, it works like a Facebook Events offering, but through Apple Invites, you can also personalize an invitation, including changing the background image and so on.
Next, you can also see who will attend the event, and make better plans. For visitors or friends, they can express their desire to attend the event via the iPhone app, or using the web.
Apple Invites also includes support for allowing users to share photos from the event through a shared photo album, in addition to playing favorite songs through a playlist with Apple Music.
Apple also includes support for Apple Intelligence to make writing easier – for devices that support it. Currently, Apple Invites is offered to everyone, but to generate or produce any invitations, users need to have a subscription to iCloud+. For those of you who are interested, you can download Apple Invites on iPhones running iOS 18 and later.
