Apple Malaysia Stops Selling iPhones with Lightning Connectors

Early this morning, the iPhone 16e was launched as a replacement for the iPhone SE. With the introduction of this device, all iPhone models now use a USB-C connector. In December last year, Apple stopped selling iPhones with Lightning connectors in the European market. This morning, the Apple Malaysia website also did the same.

Above, yesterday there were still iPhone 14 and iPhone SE. Below, this morning only the iPhone 16 family, iPhone 16 and iPhone 16e are left

Of the 15 Lightning-based products that Apple Malaysia still sells, there are now 13 left because the iPhone 14 and iPhone SE are no longer sold. The cheapest iPhone is now the iPhone 16e with the Apple A18 chip for Apple Intelligence support, uses Apple's own C1 modem, supports the physical Action Button and does not have MagSafe.

Compared to the previous iPhone SE 2022 at RM2,199, do you think the iPhone 16e, which is sold starting at RM2,999, which is RM800 more expensive, is worth owning or not?
