Although there are various AI-based service offerings today, OpenAI is seen as continuing to be the main destination for users to try and use AI-based support.
According to OpenAI's latest sharing, ChatGPT is now used by over 400 million weekly active users. This figure shows an increase of 100 million weekly active users compared to the end of 2024. However, it is not known what percentage of paid users are for the service.
At the same time, ChatGPT also now has over 2 million enterprise users.
Apart from ChatGPT, one of the services that also has a high user count is Meta AI – although it has not yet been fully introduced worldwide. The last time it was shared it had over 500 million monthly active users. It is possible that ChatGPT's user count is higher if viewed in a monthly context.
