DJI RS 4 Mini Launched – Compact Gimbal Designed for Cameras and Smartphones

The DJI RS 4 Mini is a compact gimbal designed for both cameras and smartphones. It can also support weights of up to 2 kilograms, while offering a battery life of up to 13 hours. A 30-minute recharge also allows it to be used for five hours of use.

In terms of functionality, the RS 4 Mini features the automatic axis lock previously found on DJI’s flagship gimbals, which allows the three axis keys to be automatically unlocked when activated and locked when turned off or in Sleep Mode. There is also a new Native Vertical Switch that allows users to quickly switch vertical to horizontal video or vice versa. It is also enhanced with Threefold Ease for Balancing that offers better stability whether used with a camera or smartphone.

Subject tracking is also easier with the DJI RS Intelligent Tracking Module, which has its own camera, and is attached to the RS 4 Mini via a magnetic mount that can be locked securely. Tracking can also be done with palm gestures. Followed by a new Responsive Mode that allows the gimbal to respond better to hand gestures. The purchase of the RS 4 Mini also includes the small and lightweight RS Briefcase Handle, which is even designed specifically for the gimbal.
