Doogee S119 Has a Smartwatch on the Back and a 10200 mAh Battery

There are many selling gimmicks for smartphones on the market today such as LED lighting systems, giant speakers, built-in projectors, stylus support and dedicated camera buttons. But the Doogee S119 may have the strangest gimmick because it has a “smartwatch” on the back panel of the phone.

It is actually a round screen that has the same appearance as a smartwatch. This screen panel supports touch and therefore can be used to display the time, answer phone calls, display music/media player information, weather forecast, compass, and various notifications that are usually seen on a pair of smartwatches.

The Doogee S119 comes with a 6.72″ IPS LCD screen, a 1.32″ round rear screen, powered by a Mediatek MT8788 chip, 8GB of RAM, up to 512GB of storage, and a 10,200 mAh battery that supports 33W wired charging.

The main camera consists of a 100MP wide-angle lens, a 5MP ultra-wide lens and a 20MP night mode camera while on the front a 16MP sensor is used for the selfie camera. The operating system used, however, is still Android 14. Completing the device's specifications is that the body passes the IP68 waterproof and dustproof standards and is MIL-STD 810H durable. The device is sold at a starting price of $239 (~RM 1070) each.
