Elon Musk today through the artificial intelligence-focused company xAI has launched its latest AI model, Grok-3. This model was trained with 10 times more processing power than the previous Grok-2, in addition to leading various benchmark tests, and beating other models, including GPT-4o.
Several models will be offered through the Grok-3 series, including the Grok-3 Mini. Reasoning support is also present with Grok 3 called Grok 3 Reasoning, allowing it to offer better answers to math, physics, biology and chemistry questions. The reasoning model will also review before giving answers, thus avoiding hallucinations in the answers.
Grok is also expected to add a voice mode in the near future, making it easier for users to interact with it through voice conversations without having to type text.
However, reasoning support is only offered through the Grok application, which is not yet offered for the local market. X Premium+ subscribers will receive access to Grok 3 before other users. At the same time, the SuperGrok subscription plan was announced at $30 per month.
Along with this announcement, the Grok.com website has also been live for all to use.
