GoPro Max 360 (2025) Launched With 5.6K Video Recording Capability

Basically, the MAX is a larger version of GoPro's action camera option. It has two cameras on the front and back that can record 360-degree video at 5.6K/30FPS resolution. Since then, it seems that no updated version has been produced until the GoPro MAX 360 (2025) was officially announced.

There are no significant changes to the design, and the recording capabilities are still limited to 5.3K resolution. It can be said to be disappointing because the camera's video resolution is still the same as the model five years ago. As for GoPro, it only improves the mounting options and battery technology.

In this context, it can be used with all standard ¼ tripod mounts from GoPro. The 1,600mAh battery capacity is also used, which is better, which is an enduro type, meaning it can survive in various conditions up to extremely cold temperatures of -10°C.

The internal software is also improved with easier 360 video editing capabilities, while the latest AI-based object tracking system ensures higher quality footage is possible. Through it, users can also adjust digital lens settings only on key frames, while new CameraFx options and filters are also provided.

Users can also use the new Reframe plug-in in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects for desktop editing. GoPro Premium and Premium+ subscribers also get unlimited cloud storage. GoPro MAX 360 (2025) is available for $349.99 (~RM1,548).
