Lenovo introduced the Lenovo ThinkPad Aura and Lenovo Yoga Aura laptop series powered by the Intel Core Ultra 200V processor series at CES 2025 last month, and now, Lenovo Malaysia has confirmed that it has arrived in the local market.
These laptops include the Lenovo ThinkPad X9 Aura Edition and the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Aura Edition.
Starting with the Lenovo ThinkPad X9 Aura Edition, it comes with a choice of 14 and 15-inch OLED displays with a resolution of up to 2880×1880 with a refresh rate of 120Hz.
It is powered by a choice of Intel Core Ultra 5 200V and Intel Core Ultra 7 200V processors with up to 32GB of LPDDR5X memory built in depending on the model chosen. It also comes with 1TB of SSD storage.
In terms of plug options, this laptop comes with two Thunderbolt 4 plugs, one USB Type-A plug and one HDMI plug.
The Lenovo ThinkPad X9 Aura comes with a very thin and light design with a thickness of 13mm and a weight of 1.2kg, making it a laptop that is easy to carry anywhere.
It is also equipped with a 55Wh battery that is large enough to power this laptop all day.
Interestingly, the Lenovo ThinkPad X9 Aura is also the first ThinkPad to not use the TrackPoint mouse for so long, nor the red dot that is usually shown in the middle of the keyboard.
The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Aura Edition is also introduced, with the classic ThinkPad design maintained, but upgraded with the latest offerings.
It comes with a 14-inch OLED screen display with a 2.8K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, and is also powered by the same Intel Core Ultra 200V processor option.
The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Aura comes with the thinnest and lightest design, with a thickness of 80mm and a weight of only 986g, making it the lightest laptop Lenovo has released to date.
Lenovo Malaysia says that both laptop models are now available in Malaysia starting today at Lenovo’s online stores on Shopee and Lazada as well as official Lenovo Malaysia distributors. The Lenovo ThinkPad X9 Aura Edition is priced starting at RM9288, while the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Aura Edition is priced starting at RM9676.
