Microsoft has increased its land purchases in Johor, where they have now purchased 138.532 acres of land in Eco Business Park 1, Iskandar Malaysia. Microsoft paid RM693.96 million for the purchase of this land.
This purchase comes in continuation of the previous purchase of 123.141 acres of land in Eco Business Park VI, Iskandar Malaysia, which was used for the development of a data center.
The purpose of this new land purchase has not yet been disclosed by Microsoft, but it is targeted for the development of data centers and related matters. This is also in line with the rapid development of technology, in addition to the high demand for land for data center development in Johor.
