Last year, Google Pixel devices started supporting the camera's night mode directly from within the Instagram app. Users can use Night Sight and share directly. This feature was developed for Samsung devices and recently it has started to be supported by OnePlus as well.
To use this feature, open the Instagram app at night or in a low-light environment. Before taking a picture, a moon icon will appear and when it is pressed, the resulting picture in a dark environment will be brighter. This feature does not just brighten the image but is processed using technology and algorithms from the device's own night mode capabilities.
This feature has been in development for a long time, where third-party apps can access the device's exclusive camera features – but its use is not widespread. Now if you want to share nighttime pictures with OnePlus 13, you don't have to worry anymore.
