Nintendo has confirmed the existence of the Nintendo Switch 2 console, and more details about the console will be revealed on April 2, 2025. The latest console is seen to come with a new design and a number of features that make this console more attractive.
One of the features shown on the Nintendo Switch is the ability to use the Joy-Con controller as a mouse. Recently, it was reported that Nintendo has been granted a patent for the technology.
According to the patent image shown, the shoulder buttons R1/R2 and L1/L2 will be used as click buttons, while the analog stick can also be used to control the movement of the mouse on the screen.
What is interesting is that unlike the controller on the Lenovo Legion Go, where only the right controller can be used as a mouse, with the Nintendo Switch, it seems that both controllers can be used as a mouse without any problems.
It's not yet known how this feature will be used in conjunction with the Nintendo Switch 2 console, but the company will surely reveal more details about it during its announcement event in early April.
