Nothing has recently shown off the design of one of their new devices, the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro. In the video, they teased that Nothing will offer more unique color options, how they went about the design process and choosing the materials, and whether they are aware of whether this new design resembles other products on the market.
Nothing Phone (3a) Pro is a premium mid-range device that is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chip. At the same time, Nothing has also confirmed that their new device will use a camera system like a flagship device. This giant round camera module will house a 50MP wide sensor, a 50MP periscope 3x optical zoom sensor, and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor.
Nothing said that they tried to take the design elements of the Phone (2a) and expand on them to show that there is an evolution. There is no doubt that this camera bump reminds them of OnePlus, but they tried to do some research and redesign to house a strange and unique sensor arrangement.
For the first time, the Phone (a) series uses a glass back panel, an upgrade over the previous plastic. The frame of the device is also aluminum. Nothing has also designed additional physical buttons with a special finish to differentiate it from traditional buttons. The design of the fake components under the glass of the back panel has also been changed by placing new signs and clues, minor changes to the patterns and textures, and using a new color theme that changes according to the glint of light.
The Nothing Phone (3a) series will be launched on March 4 at the MWC Barcelona 2025 event. Sales in Malaysia have not yet been confirmed. Let's all wait for more information.
