Recently, NVIDIA has released the CUDA 12.8 software update, and through the note shown, NVIDIA seems to be stopping feature updates for three of their graphics card series, including Maxwell, Pascal, and Volta.
This means that starting from the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 700 series of graphics cards up to the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1000 series will no longer receive new feature updates soon.
This does not mean that NVIDIA will stop supporting updates through the NVIDIA App application, but for new modern games to come, it seems that it will no longer receive optimization updates for modern gaming features such as DLSS or Ray-Tracing.
Users can still use these graphics cards without problems, but in the future, their performance with new games is seen to be getting worse.
