OnePlus has confirmed that it will launch a new smartwatch on February 18, 2025. It is known as the OnePlus Watch 3 and its design is not much different from the previous model. Only the Watch 3 has a slight engraving on the bezel which is said to be made of titanium material.
It will also be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 processor with a Real-Time Operating System (RTOS) supported by a secondary BES2800 MCU chip to help save battery life. In addition, OnePlus has added silicon carbon battery technology to the Watch 3 with a larger battery capacity of 631mAh. At the same time, it claims that the Watch 3 can last up to 120 hours in Smart Mode, 16 days in Saver Mode and can be fully charged in 10 minutes.
This is a better leap compared to the 100 hours of endurance on the previous Watch 2. However, OnePlus emphasizes that the actual battery life may vary depending on the functions and applications used frequently. In addition, the frequency of calls and messages and the number of devices charged are also other factors.
