Opera Air Web Browser Focuses on Calmness and Mental Health

Opera Air was launched today as the first web browser that focuses on calmness and mental health of users. It has a transparent mirror-like interface design that resembles a meditation app. There are features to stop browsing the web to rest your eyes, meditate, stretch your neck and a built-in meditation feature.

In addition, the Boost feature plays audio in binaural mode which is said to increase creativity, relieve stress, improve concentration and more. Other features such as a built-in VPN, ad blocker and the Aria AI virtual assistant included in other Opera browsers are also included.

Opera Air was developed after taking feedback from Opera web browser users. The majority of respondents said that they were stressed when using the web browser on their devices. Web browsers used on desktops can reduce stress even more if they use a simpler interface. The Opera Air web browser is now available for download for Windows and macOS computers.
