However, determining the model that best suits your needs is not as easy as turning your palms. There are considerations that need to be thought about before making the final choice. In this article, we share the main differences between the two devices starting from design, hardware, camera and battery. It can be the answer that helps determine which one best suits your needs.

Both phones have premium build quality. Magic7 Pro has dimensions of 162 x 77.1 x 8.8mm with a weight of 223 grams. Magic7 RSR also has the same dimensions but weighs about 228 grams. The same dimensions make these devices comfortable to use in various situations including one-handed.

Holding for a long time does feel good although at first the Magic7 RSR feels heavy if used continuously. In addition, a new touch is given, especially the glass back is seen to highlight the overall design. The futuristic style can also be seen through the evergreen design that maintains the DNA of this brand.

What distinguishes the two is when the Magic7 RSR exhibits a unique feature that takes inspiration from the Porcshe Taycan Turbo S. It has a unique symmetrical layout on the back. In addition, it uses a hexagonal camera bump. When compared to the Magic7 Pro, it is seen to stand out and is easily identifiable just like the previous generation.

However, as usual, the glass back usually feels slippery in the hand so it is recommended to wear a protective frame to increase grip strength. It also easily traps fingerprint dirt but still produces an attractive shine that enhances each color option provided.

In terms of display, both devices share a 6.8″ OLED LTPO display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. This resolution ensures sharp text and images. There is also a peak HDR brightness of 5000 nits and a global peak of 1600 nits for clear visual content in all lighting conditions.

With the natural ability of the OLED panel to display deep blacks and a fairly good color range, the device’s display has bright color reproduction. Honor also uses NanoCrystal Shield as a display protector to prevent scratches that can cause eye strain when looking at it.

The Magic7 RSR screen is also said to be 10 times more durable through new technology. At the same time, it can handle high-pressure water spray without damage.

Other features on both devices are stereo speakers, infrared, dual nano-SIM and NFC. There is also Bluetooth 5.4 for seamless connection to earphones, speakers or other devices. Things have improved with the presence of several features such as A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile), LE (Low Energy) and aptX HD which make the connection experience better.

The Magic7 RSR provides a larger option of up to 24GB RAM with 1TB storage. This large option brings benefits that can affect the device's performance to function smoothly without significant degradation. With UFS 4.0 storage, faster data transfer rates can be achieved to reduce download times for applications.
