Acer's Predator Helios Neo laptop series can be seen as one of the most powerful gaming laptops on the market with a minimalist design, and recently, Acer has updated the series with the latest components from Intel and NVIDIA.
Predator Helios Neo 16 AI and Predator Helios Neo 18 AI are now updated with a choice of Intel Core Ultra 200H processor chips, up to the Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX CPU model and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics card built into it.
Predator Helios 16 AI comes with screen display options including OLED and IPS displays with resolutions from 1920×1200 with a refresh rate of 180Hz to 2560×1600 with a refresh rate of 240Hz.
In terms of other internal component offerings. it is also equipped with up to 64GB of DDR5 memory and 2TB of PCIe4 SSD storage. In terms of graphics cards, as mentioned, it comes with options up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti.
The Predator Helios 18 AI comes with the same processor, memory, storage and graphics card configuration, but in terms of display, it is equipped with an 18-inch screen display, with a choice of IPS and Mini LED panels from 1920×1200 resolution with a refresh rate of 165Hz to 2560×1600 with a refresh rate of 240Hz.
In terms of plug options, both laptops are seen to have support for Thunderbolt 4, USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C, and USB 3.2 Type-A plugs. It also comes with an HDMI 2.1 plug, a MicroSD card reader and a 3.5mm audio plug.
Both laptops are also equipped with WiFi 6E connectivity and use a 90Wh battery for use with a battery that can last for several hours. In terms of cooling, both laptops use the 6th generation Aeroblade 3D cooling fan to efficiently cool the CPU and graphics card components.
Both Predator Helios 16 AI and Predator Helios 18 AI laptops will arrive in select markets in April (Helios 16 AI) and May (Helios 18 AI) at prices starting at 1699 Euros and 1899 Euros. It is currently unknown when these laptops will enter the local market.
